Barth stated that their training was not completed as yet, but <br /> at this point, felt that they were no longer a liability to the city. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to accept Chief Barth's <br /> recommendation that Reserve Officers Greg Gahlet, James Zimmerman, <br /> Sue DeJonker, and Gary Schoonover be be sworn in as Police Reserve <br /> Officers for the City of Hugo. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Irsfeld <br /> NOTION CARRIED <br /> It was determined that no time schedule could be established, at this time, in re— <br /> gard to the correlation of work to be done by Marie Connors between the Clerk's <br /> office and the Police Department, until the training in period is completed. Barth <br /> to report on status of training at the meeting of May 9th. <br /> Chief Barth submitted a report regarding use of personal vehicles; by Officers while <br /> on duty. Chief Barth was instructed to contact Sheriff Trudeau as to the.possibil— <br /> ity of the city renting or leasing a vehicle for emergency purposes while the city's <br /> squad is immobile. <br />
