NNE 18, 1979 7" <br /> 5.2 Grace Development - Letter of Credit <br /> Presently, Grace Development has two letters of credit that will expire <br /> on July 1 , 1979. One covers the construction of the parking lot at <br /> Accessory Engineering and the other covers extension of the sewer for <br /> Lot 12, Block 1 , Valley View Terrace. Kuusisto stated that he had no <br /> objection to Grace Development keeping their pumping station in the In- <br /> dustrial Park, but would still like to see the lot graded to prevent <br /> flooding in the event the pumping station fails. Kuusisto stated that <br /> he would see to it that the area was staked this week so Tschida can <br /> proceed with the project. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Letter <br /> of Credit, in the amount of $2,000.00, for the parking <br /> area at Accessory Engineering be extended until August 1 , <br /> 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Grace Jackson stated that they would still like to have sewer extended <br /> to their property, but financial arrangements have not been completed. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that the Letter of <br /> Credit, in the amount of $2,500.00, for Grace Development <br /> to cover extension of sewer to Lot 12, Block 1 , Valley <br /> View Terrace, be extended for a period of 60 days. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 Report on monitoring of the wells (Goodview & 8A) <br /> Kuusisto reported that the highest so far was 2.7 below the ground level <br /> of the existing system (Bramsted) . The wells will be monitored again <br /> prior to the establishment of elevations for Lots 2 and 3. The Clerk <br /> was instructed to contact the Building Inspector to check on the septic <br /> system for Lot 1 to make sure it was functioning properly. <br /> 5.4 Release Lions Club from financial guarantee (Lavatory Pro.iect) <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, instructing <br /> the City Clerk to send a letter to the Lions Club thank- <br /> ing them for all they have done to complete the lavatory <br /> project and that they are released from their financial <br /> obligation. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
