97 <br /> JULY 16, 1979 <br /> Marie Connors <br /> Carol Williams stated that Marie has done a satisfactory job for the <br /> past six months, and has taken over the duties as secretary of the <br /> Police Department. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to increase <br /> the salary of Marie Connors from $3.50/hour to $4.00/hour. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Attorney Johnson attended a meeting this date in regard to the changing <br /> of law regarding zoning, subdivision, and implementation of the Com— <br /> prehensive Plan. Another meeting has been set for August 7. Attorney <br /> Johnson suggested that the City Council might want to make written <br /> comments before the legislation is passed. Copies of the proposed <br /> changes have been forwarded to the Planning Commission and Ordinance <br /> Committee. <br /> RICHARD PILLARD <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the <br /> Richard Pillard matter be laid over until the meeting <br /> of August 6, 1979. Mr. Pillard to be notified to be <br /> present at this meeting to discuss the matter with him. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Engineer Kuusisto made an onsite inspection of the lot owned by <br /> Bill Clark. Rice Creek requested that a topographical map be sub— <br /> mitted for the area. The permit to install a septic system issued <br /> by Rice Creek to Bill Clark has been suspended. The permit was not <br /> issued to allow for filling on the property, but for installation of <br /> a septic system. LaValle stated that if the land was located in the <br /> floodway, no filling would be allowed. If the land was located in <br /> the flood fringe, the city would have to determine the percentage of <br /> the lot to be filled. The City would have to consider the total area. <br /> Kuusisto and 9,chletty inspected Ethan -Avenue for patching work to be <br /> done. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to authorize <br /> Councilman Schletty to contact Washington County to <br /> do the necessary repair work on Ethan Avenue. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
