OCTOBER 1 , 1979 <br /> 5.5 Stephen Shaw - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Shaw, 17940 Foxhill Avenue, owns 5 acres in the Agricultural zone, and would <br /> like to construct a 24 x 40 pole barn to be used for personal storage. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion that the application for Special Use Permit <br /> made by Stephen Shaw, 17940 Foxhill Avenue, be vacated on the grounds <br /> that a Special Use Permit is not required for action comtemplated. The <br /> $35.00 fee to be refunded. <br /> Spitzer withdrew his motion. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to grant a Special Use Permit <br /> to Stephen Shaw, 17940 Foxhill Avenue, to construct a 24 x 40 pole <br /> barn to be used for storage. The Special Use Permit to be invalid <br /> if building not constructed by the end of 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.6 Safeway House Movers - Temporary Mobile Home Permit <br /> Mr. Sempel has made application to move in a trailer to his property to be used for <br /> watchman's quarters. Presently, there is no provision in ordinance to allow for <br /> this in the Industrial zone. LaValle stated that in this case, the city could amend <br /> the ordinance and allow a mobile home under the hardship clause. The Council pre- <br /> ferred amending of the ordinance. This had been discussed previously with the <br /> problem of quarters becoming a residence. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Ordinance <br /> Committee be directed to consult with the City Attorney and draft <br /> an amendment to Chapter 320-4 to permit caretaker's quarters being <br /> careful to exclude the possibility of creating an additional residential <br /> zone. Report to be submitted by December 17, 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, that the application for a <br /> temporary Mobile HOme Permit be vacated and the $3.00 fee be refunded. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.7 Vern Peloquin - Letter of Credit for Freeland in Industrial Park <br /> Mr. Peloquin has completed construction of Freeland in the park and would like his <br /> letter of credit released at this time. Spitzer suggested that the letter of credit <br /> be reduced to insure durability of the road in case the subdivision is not approved. <br />
