103 8 OCTOBER 1 , 1979 <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adopt Ordinance 163, AN <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HUGO CITY CODE DEFINING THE PENALTY FOR A <br /> MISDEMEANOR. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> The Clerk stated that there will be a public hearing October 11 , 1979, from 7:00 P.M. <br /> - 10:00 P.M. , Hugo Elementary School, regarding the powerline of Anoka Electric <br /> going through Hugo. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City of Hugo <br /> utilize Anderson Johnson and Company to audit the books for 1979. <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION FAILED <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by Schlety, to hire the firm of Anfinson <br /> Hendrickson and Company to audit the books for 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The Ordinance Committee was directed to investigate the establishing of a nudity <br /> ordinance for the City of Hugo. Attorney Johnson will obtain model ordinances <br /> from St. Paul and Mahtomedi. <br /> 6.7 Attorney Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. Engineer Kuusisto will <br /> contact the surveyor to try and resolve the right-of-way problem on July Avenue. <br /> Johnson has heard nothing regarding the MR Tourist Camp. He Stated that Diana <br /> Marsh would like a statement from the City regarding the problem of standing sewage <br /> on the property. <br /> Brevig Dike Matter - After a lengthy discussion, the City Council determined that <br /> as far as they can determine, the dike matter is a private matter between Mr. Brevig <br /> and Mr. Richard Vail. <br /> MOTION Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adopt Solution # 1 , as <br /> proposed. Abandonment of the project. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> The City reveived correspondence regarding the filling of Big Marine Lake with 130 <br /> cubic yards of sand. This matter was referred to the City Engineer for his <br /> comments. <br />
