Page 50 <br /> APRIL 21 , 1980 <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, to grant the <br /> Hugo Lions Club Licenses to be used in conjunction with <br /> their Good Neighbor Days to be held June 6, 7, 8, 1980: <br /> On-Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor and Soft Drink in <br /> the amount of $40.00, also a Gambling License in the <br /> amount of 325 .00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mike McAllister, representative for the Lions Club, requested use of <br /> the City's grounds for Good Neighbor Days - June 3rd through June 10th, <br /> 1980, provided that the Lions Club submit to the city evidence of insur- <br /> ance under the Dram Shop Act and public liability, and further the <br /> Lions Club agrees to hold the City of Hugo harmless in any legal matters <br /> arising from the above use. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle and Spitzer <br /> VOTING AGAINST : Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Councilman Vail will work with the Lions Club to determine if it would <br /> be feasible to hold the Hugo Slow Pitch Tournament in conjunction with <br /> Good Neighbor Days. <br /> 9.0 CLERK <br /> The City received a letter from Marlowe Lindau requesting the installa- <br /> tion of a street light at the intersection of Foxhill and Egg Lake Road. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, that the request <br /> be forwarded to Councilman Schletty. He is requested <br /> to make a report to the City Council. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City <br /> enter into a contract with Blaine Midway All Pets, Inc. , <br /> for dog pickup service, provided the contract corresponds <br /> with the City Ordinance in regard to time. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED • <br />
