<br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES
<br /> Todd and Scott Hubbard were present and stated that they are in the
<br /> process of purchasing Schmidty's 61 Club, and anticipate closing the
<br /> sale on June 3, 1980. Their Articles of Incorporation were reveiwed
<br /> by Mr. Johnson and met with his approval. There are 3 brothers involved
<br /> in this corporation.
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to grant the
<br /> following licenses to Three H's, Inc. , Schmidty's 61 Club,
<br /> 17285 Forest Blvd. , Hugo, Minnesota: Off Sale Intoxicating
<br /> Liquor, On Sale Intoxicating Liquor, On Sale Non-Intoxicating
<br /> Liquor, On Sale Sunday Liquor, Cigarette, Soft Drink, and
<br /> Billiard, in the amount of $1 ,795.31 . All issuance of
<br /> licenses conditioned on the sale of Schmidty's 61 Club to
<br /> become effective June 3, 1980, or such time as closing
<br /> may occur within 60 days.

<br /> 5.1 William Poferl - Business in Home
<br /> Mr. Poferl, 12056 Everton Avenue North, was requested to appear before
<br /> the Council to discuss his business operation in his home. Mr. Poferl
<br /> stated that he recently received a large contract for business with
<br /> 3M Company, but the job should be finished by the middle of June. He
<br /> normally employs one full time and one part-time. For this particular
<br /> job, he has hired 4 extras, and to eliminate parking problems, they now
<br /> carpoll and utilize one car. Mr. Poferl stated that he started his bus-
<br /> iness in 1975 (Zoning Ordinance adopted January, 1975) . Spitzer stated
<br /> that Mr. Poferl cannot intensify his operation on a permanent basis or
<br /> the city would have to look at it again. A Special Use Permit may then
<br /> be required.
<br /> 5.2 Paul Santanni - Renew of Mobile Home Permit
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to grant a renewal
<br /> of the Mobile Home Permit for Paul Santanni at 7124 125th
<br /> Street North, under Chapter 40, Article III, Subdivision C,
<br /> for a period of 90 days.
