Page 75 <br /> July 7, 1980 <br /> Attorney Johnson has discussed the request for extension of time regarding the <br /> proposed Comprehensive Plan with Metro Council. They..have requested that a <br /> Resolution be provided. The city has requested an extension of six months for <br /> preparation and six months for circulation. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adopt RESOLUTION 1980, <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME FROM THE METROPOLITAN <br /> COUNCIL FOR THE FILING OF THE COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN FOR THE <br /> CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOITON CARRIED <br /> Metro Council has also requested that a follow-up statement be submitted indicating <br /> all items listed in the plan with a projection for completion. The Planning Commission <br /> will meet July 16, 1980 for further review of the plan, and at that time, is requested <br /> to compile the requested data. <br /> 6.8 Engineer <br /> Mr. Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. The city is working with Mr. Schuh to try <br /> and remedy the maintenance of his haul roads. <br /> Mayor LaValle addressed the matter of a plugged culvert on 130th Street (Bald Eagle <br /> Industrial Park) . Kuusisto was instructed to obtain bids to determine the cost to <br /> have the matter resolved. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City Clerk be directed <br /> to send a letter to Grace Development stating that the City Engineer <br /> has been instructed to obtain bids for the repair of the culvert located <br /> at 130th Street in front of Axin Products. The city will consider <br /> drawing on their Letter of Credit unless repairs are made prior to the <br /> obtaining of the bids. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> The city has received a complaint from Carol Vandelac regarding the condition of <br /> property located at 16155 Forest Boulevard. Officer is to make an onsite inspection <br /> and report of his findings, and the realtor is to be contacted to determine the owner <br /> of the property. <br /> Bob Olson, President of the Sunset Lake Association, was present to inform the Council <br /> of what is being planned for the lake, and that they will keep the city aware of their <br /> plans. Spitzer suggested that Mr. Olson provide the city with a copy of their by-laws <br /> when they are available. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adjourn at 9:37 PM. <br /> All aye.
