Page 74 July 7, 1980 MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, that the City of Hugo enter into the contract contemplated with Lloyd Sathre conditioned that this contract be executed and recorded prior to any issuance of a Building Permit for the structure. This agreement to be executed within the next 30 days or approval of contact will be withdrawn. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail MOTION CARRIED 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No report 6.2 Planning Commission - No report 6.3 Water Superintendent - No report 6.4 Building Inspector Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. 6.5 Fire Chief Joe McMahon was present and stated the the Fire Department was in need of equipment. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the Fire Department purchasing personal equipment in the amount of $1 ,63.3.00, respirating equipment in the amount of $1 ,350.00, and schooling in the amount of $60.00. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail MOTION CARRIED Let the record show that the Fire Department is operating within their budget for narmal and. contemplated expenses. 6.6 Police Chief Acting Police Chief Fure submitted his monthly report. 6.7 Attorney Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. Johnson has been in contact with Mr. Schneider at the State Health Department. They have approved the proposed septic system for the operation as it presently exists (MR Tourist Camp-).. If there is to be any expansion of the operation, further city and state approval would be required. Attorney Johnson suggested that he be notified that Mr. Ramaden is requesting expan- sion of the business. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the City Clerk be directed to forward a copy of the Ramaden application to Mr. Schneider and the City Attorney to verify with him that this information will forthcoming.
