Page 70 <br /> JUNE 16, 1980 <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Councilman Schletty addressed the possibility of a problem with the construction <br /> of a driveway on Homestead Drive. The runoff will more than likely drain onto <br /> the gravel road. City Engineer was instructed to setup a date with Schletty and <br /> Crever to take a look at the driveway before any excavation is started. <br /> Kuusisto has not heard from Bill Clark regarding the drainage problem and his drive- <br /> way (erosion control on west side of Homestead and no provision for culvert on <br /> east side) . <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Clerl be instructed <br /> to write Mr. Bill Clark stating that he has 30 days to make arrange- <br /> ments with the City Engineer as to how he could correct problems <br /> or the city will draw on his letter of credit. Mr. Clark is requested <br /> to appear before the City Council at their meeting of 7/7/80. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Herbert Linn, owner of two lots on Sunset Lake, had requested a reduction in his <br /> taxes because the lots were unbuildable. At the time of the Board of Review, the <br /> city had no documentation that these lots were in fact unbuildable. Mr. Linn has <br /> since submitted information verifying the statement. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that because of information <br /> cited by the Building Inspector, the assessor and the Washington <br /> County Board of Review be notified that the two lots belonging to <br /> Mr. Linn are determined as unbuildable and taxes should be adjusted <br /> accordingly. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Lloyd Sathre, owner of 35 acres north of Sunset Lake, questioned whether he had <br /> access to his property from the cul-de-sac at the north end of Ingersoll Avenue. It <br /> was determined that Mr. Sathre would have to purchase an easement from Mr. Olson or <br /> Mr. Busse to obtain access to his property from Ingersoll, otherwise, he will have <br /> to use another route. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City of Hugo grant <br /> approval of the installation of gas mains along the south side of County <br /> Road 8A to Norther States Power. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> The Clerk was directed to obtain information regarding the establishment of a Contrac- <br /> tor's License in the City of Hugo. <br /> Before the Planning Commission is to review any permits within the city, they are to <br /> receive direction from the City Council. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adjourn at 10: 15 PM. <br /> All aye.
