Page 69 <br /> JUNE 16, 1980 <br /> 5.7 Washington County Highway Contract <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City of Hugo sign <br /> the Contract with Washington County for road maitenance. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.8 MR Tourist Camp <br /> Mr. Ramaden has been on the Planning Commission agenda a number of times, but has <br /> failed to appear. The manager of the camp was present, and stated that the proposed <br /> septic system will service the grocery store and the trailer park, Site Plan Approval <br /> will be required, and the manager was instructed to get on the agenda for the Planning <br /> Commission. Any correspondence from the State Health Department should be submitted <br /> after applications are reviewed by the Commission. Attorney Johnson will contact <br /> the Health Department for an update on this matter. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 7.1 NSP Release Agreement <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the. City of Hugo sign <br /> the Release Agreement with NSP, No. T605-090. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.2 NSP Powerline Easement <br /> The attorney and Council discussed what has already transpired regarding the con- <br /> struction of powerlines in Hugo, along city right-of-way. It was ultimately deter- <br /> mined that Mr. Johnson inquire at Washington County whether NSP had obtained easements <br /> from 180th Street south. At some point in time, the city will need right-of-way <br /> if there is ever to be a road constructed there. <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> 9.0 CLERK <br /> In the process of retyping the City Codebook, it was noted that there is obsolete in- <br /> formation regarding fees in different chapters. The clerk was directed to keep a <br /> record of the errors and draw up an omnibus ordinance to update the book. <br /> The clerk was instructed to provide the Council with copies of sample ordinance from <br /> other communities for water hookup charges. <br /> Mayor LaValle submitted repair bills from 1979 and 1980 for damages sustained to the <br /> City's chainsaw to Councilman Deane Vail. LaValle stated that city equipment was not <br /> to be used for his personal use. Payment, in the amount of $83.40, is to be made <br /> directly to the City Clerk. City equipment is to be used for city business only. <br />
