Page 122 <br /> November 3, 1980 <br /> Attorney - cont., <br /> The City Clerk was instructed to contact Richard Granger, Wildwood Development, <br /> regarding submission of the following pertaining to his multi-family dwelling: <br /> plat, bylaws, agreement with FHA, and the Condominium Agreement. <br /> Attorney Johnson was instructed to contact Washington County Attorney, Robert <br /> Kelly, regarding the Washington County Sheriff's Contract. An attachment of an <br /> exhibit that would specify the cost factors that wouldbe charged against the <br /> contract was not incorporated. He will also check on the addition of a provision <br /> relating to damage or destruction of a vehicle assigned to the city. <br /> Mr. Thomas Hopkins has been asked to appear before the City Council at their <br /> meeting of 11/17/80, at 7:30 PM. Mr.Hopkins sent a letter to the city listing <br /> questions he would like answered regarding his liquor license. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Attorney be <br /> instructed to respond to Mr. Hopkin's letter by certified mail. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.7 Engineer <br /> Mr. Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. The Brevig dike matter is nearly <br /> completed. After his inspection, Juusisto noted that there was some compaction <br /> required at the site. Washington County Highway Department is to be contacted <br /> to have the problem remedied. <br /> 6.8 Clerk <br /> A survey was received from the League of Minnesota Cities asking for the city's <br /> opinion as to the financing plan they favor for a new League office building. <br /> The City Clerk was instructed to obtain the results of the opinion survey that <br /> was submitted by the League in August. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the city fill out the <br /> survey from the League of Minnesota Cities that we would make payment <br /> in one sum. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 7.1 . Sign Ordinance <br /> A copy of Mr. Johnson's letter regarding the proposed changes in the. Sign Ordi- <br /> nance was referred to the Chairwoman of the Ordinance Committee for their review. <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 City Budget <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adopt the City Budget for <br /> 1981 with corrections as indicated (per attached) . <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
