June 1 , 1981 6.7 Engineer Mr. Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, the tentative awarding of the bid for Project 8102 to W&G Rehbein Bros. , subject to approval of easements and obtaining of financing. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, that the City Council directs Councilman Larry Irsfeld to get the necessary information from lending institutions to finance Project 8102. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail MOTION CARRIED Councilman Vail stated that financing is available through Washington County for upgrading of the railroad crossing at 145th Street. The funding will not be available for one year, but the BN will categorize its priorities, and then con- tact Washington County for a traffic count. The city cannot do anything at this point to expedite the matter. MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by LaValle, to extend the meeting passed 11 :00 PM. All aye. Motion Carried. 6.8 Clerk McAllister stated that he would talk to Jim Wisner regarding City Hall maintenance. 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by McAllister, to adopt RESOLUTION 1981-8, A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE PROPOSED SEWAGE SLUDGE OR SLUDGE ASH LANDFILLS IN THE CITY OF HUGO. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail MOTION CARRIED The following WHEREAS to be inserted in submitted Resolution: WHEREAS, the search area encompasses major gravel deposits in the City which would no longer be available and would constitute a severe financial loss to the City and its residents; and (cont. ) 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 8.1 Washington County Maintenance Agreement Councilman Schletty was not present so the matter was laid over until the meeting of June 15th.
