June 1 , 1981 <br /> 5.10 Richard Schuh - Mining Permits (2) <br /> Engineer Kuusisto had inspected the haul road (Irish Avenue) and found that there <br /> was work needed to make the road serviceable. There was no patching done in the <br /> fall as requested. Some of the holes in the road could be considered hazardous.. <br /> Mr. Schuh was present and agreed to repair Irish Avenue from County Road 8A to <br /> the gate. Mr. Schuh also agreed to slope some of the steep areas in his north and <br /> south pit. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the Mining Permits for <br /> Richard Schuh (Goiffon and Duraine) for a period of one year, subject to <br /> renewal of the financial guarantees, and the conditions of the Duraine <br /> Special Use Permit be incorporated into the Mining Permit. The $25,000 <br /> bond to cover that portion of the Special Use Permit which is incorporated <br /> into the Mining Permit. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.11 Fischer Construction-- Mining Permit <br /> Mr. Fischer is to be informed of the condition of Irish Avenue, and letters to. <br /> be sent to Schuh and Fischer requesting that the necessary repairs be completed. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the Mining Permit <br /> for Fischer Construction for a period of one year and the financial gua- <br /> rantees to remain the same. The appropriate inspection fee to be paid <br /> and a letter to be sent stating that there is repair required on Irish <br /> Avenue and suggest that he get together with Mr. Richard Schuh to accom- <br /> plish the repair to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> The clerk's office was instructed to contact Mr. Paul Webber, White Bear Township, <br /> regarding their fee schedules. This information to be forwarded to the City <br /> Attorney and Ordinance Committee. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.6 Attorney <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. A draft of a Development Contract was <br /> provided for Richard Vail (Shamrock Glen). The Attorney is incthe process of com- <br /> pleting the easements for the Bald Eagle Industrial Park Project 8102. Any area <br /> of concern will be resolved by approving of the easements. <br />
