July 9, 1981 <br /> 5.2 Washington County Contract - Community Health Service <br /> The contract from the Community Health Service was received by the Council. <br /> An amount of $3,028.00 would be granted to the City of Hugo for use in any <br /> rescue related expenditures. The idea of renovating the city's rescue truck <br /> was approved. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to sign the contract with <br /> Washington County Community Health Service to use the designated money <br /> for renovation of the rescue truck and remaining money over renovation <br /> costs for medical surplus. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 Norm's Auto Parts - Requesting extension on SUP <br /> The Council reviewed the request for an extension of a special use permit for <br /> Norm's Auto Parts. They expressed concern over problems such as lack of land- <br /> scaping, use of parking area for dismantling automobiles, and lack of off-highway <br /> parking. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, for the extension of the <br /> Special Use Permit for Norm Horton's Auto Parts. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld amended his motion, seconded by Schletty, fora 30-day period <br /> to review the SUP as requested by the property owner. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to grant a 30 day extension <br /> on license as requested by the property owner. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> LaValle directed the Clerk to request, by memo, that the Fire Chief construct a <br /> written report concerning the plan for a fire lane to be used by the Council when <br /> Mr. Horton appears at the Council meeting. <br /> 5.4 Hugo's Lions Club - City Approval to Sell Beer on July 17, 18 & 19 <br /> The Hugo Lion's Club requested a liquor license to sell beer on the days of <br /> July 17, 18 and 19. Jim Husnik is the club's representative. Council stated <br /> that the property owner must consent to the use of the liquor license. Proposed <br /> solution for meeting the Ordinance requirements of having a specific hour, date, <br /> and place was to transfer the license to Tom King's property for a period of <br /> 3 days at which time it would revert back to the original place. <br />
