MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> August 17, 1981 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:06 PM. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> ABSENT: Irsfeld <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the minutes of <br /> August 3, 1981 , as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the General Claims <br /> for August 17, 1981 , as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> August 17, 1981 , as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Realty World North - Rezoning <br /> Realty World has requested the rezoning of 6.24 acres from RB to Industrial in order <br /> to accommodate a trucking business. A survey, proof of ownership, and soil borings <br /> were presented to the Council for their review. Before the Quit Claim Deed between <br /> LeRoy and Lauren McCullough can be recorded, Land Division will need to be granted. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adopt ORDINANCE 180, AN <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" <br /> BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br /> The Council reviewed the Site Plan for construction of the building to be used in <br /> the trucking operation. The future owner of the property was present., and stated <br /> that he had no objection to a 50' easement across the front portion of his property <br /> for possible frontage road purposes. It was suggested that the building be setback <br /> approximately 130' from the right-of-way because of the easement. Earth Science <br /> has suggested that a mound type septic system be installed on the property. There <br /> will be 2 to 3 employees on the property on a regular basis, with a maximum of 10 <br /> at various times. <br />
