MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL August 17, 1981 The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:06 PM. PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail ABSENT: Irsfeld 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the minutes of August 3, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail MOTION CARRIED 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the General Claims for August 17, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the Utility Claims for August 17, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Realty World North - Rezoning Realty World has requested the rezoning of 6.24 acres from RB to Industrial in order to accommodate a trucking business. A survey, proof of ownership, and soil borings were presented to the Council for their review. Before the Quit Claim Deed between LeRoy and Lauren McCullough can be recorded, Land Division will need to be granted. MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adopt ORDINANCE 180, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail MOTION CARRIED SITE PLAN APPROVAL The Council reviewed the Site Plan for construction of the building to be used in the trucking operation. The future owner of the property was present., and stated that he had no objection to a 50' easement across the front portion of his property for possible frontage road purposes. It was suggested that the building be setback approximately 130' from the right-of-way because of the easement. Earth Science has suggested that a mound type septic system be installed on the property. There will be 2 to 3 employees on the property on a regular basis, with a maximum of 10 at various times.
