THE MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> September 8, 1981 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:00 PM. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> ABSENT: Schletty <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the minutes of August 17, <br /> 1981 , as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the General Claims <br /> for September 8, 1981 , as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfe.ld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the Utility Claims <br /> for September 8, 1981, as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED • <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau <br /> Representative from the Bureau, Tom Oswald, was present, and submitted statistics for <br /> how many Hugo residents will be served by their organization in 1982. (SCHLETTY AR- <br /> RIVED AT 7:05 PM) . A short slide demonstration was shown illustrating the restitution <br /> program in Washington County. Mr. Oswald requested the support of the City of Hugo <br /> in the amount of $2,500.00. Mayor LaValle stated that the City will be working on <br /> the 1982 budget within the next few weeks, and, hopefully, the Forest Lake Youth <br /> Service Bureau will get the same consideration as in the past. <br /> 5.3 Public Hearing (Project 8102) - Bald Eagle Industrial Park (7:30 PM) <br /> The City Clerk read the public hearing notice as published in the Forest Lake Times. <br /> There was no one present at the meeting regarding this matter. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to close the public hearing <br /> at 7:35 PM. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.2 Richard Parranto - Discussion on Easement (Janero Avenue) <br /> • <br /> Mrs. Olaf Larson, 11991 Janero Avenue, wanted to receive a letter from the City of <br /> Hugo stating that Janero Avenue is a dedicated street and that her property will <br /> always have access to 122nd Street by Janero Avenue and will be maintained by <br /> the City of Hugo. Mrs. Larson was concerned that her property could become landlocked. <br />
