71 r'A September 21, 1981 MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to set a public hearing • for October 5, 1981 , at 7:45 PM, to discuss the use of spending revenue sharing for roads and streets in the amount of $16,331 .00. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED . Joe McMahon, Fire Department, was present and submitted, verbally, two quotes for the refurbishing of the rescue truck: Granger's DX ($1 ,577.50 and Lakeside Auto ($950.00) . McMahon recommended Granger's because he felt a better job would be done. Relettering costs would be approximately $300 - $400. MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City have the rescue truck refurbished and relettered by Granger's DX in an amount not to exceed $2,000.00. Some Council members questioned the necessity of the repairs at this time. Irsfeld withdrew his motion and Schletty his second. MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by LaValle, that this matter be tabled until the meeting of October 5, 1981 , at which time the Fire Chief would be present to answer any questions. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, authorizing the Fire De- partment to purchase the following replacement hoses: 250' of 2i" and 100' of 1i". VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED 9.0 CLERK The Mayor will check in to the city selling its city owned vehicles. The city has received a request to purchase a lawn mower to be used for mowing around the lift stations and City Hall. MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the Mayor be authorized to purchase the appropriate lawn mower for the city, VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the City Clerk be authorized to purchase a Monroe calculator in the amount of $160.00. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED
