September 21 , 1981 <br /> Homer Dole - cont. <br /> Attorney Johnson reviewed the Road Maintenance Agreement as required for Land <br /> Division of the Dole property, and found it to be in order. This document should <br /> be prepared in recordable form and show up on the abstract. <br /> Cal-Inland <br /> Kelly Cadwallader was present, and stated that Schiller and Weaver would not grant <br /> a 50' easement on their property until his Contract for Deed was paid in full. He <br /> stated that he would be willing to sign a contract with the City of Hugo stating <br /> that when he becomes the fee owner, the easement would be granted. This would eli- <br /> minate his having to pay off the contract. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Attorney be re- <br /> quested to draft the agreement guarantying the contract will provide the <br /> City with the 50' easements when they obtain title. The Mayor is authorized <br /> to sign the agreement, after which the agreement is to be recorded. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schietty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adopt RESOLUTION 1981-15, <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CAUSE <br /> SPEED ZONE STUDIES ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF HUGO. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schietty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 7.1 White Bear Lake Paramedic Service <br /> There will be a meeting regarding this matter at the City Hall in White Bear at <br /> 4:00 P.M. The Fire Chief will be in attendance. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to table this matter until the <br /> meeting of October 5, 1981 . <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.2 Fire Department - Change in by-laws <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the City of Hugo adopt the <br /> Fire Department's bylaw changes effecting retirement pay equal to $150.00 <br /> per years of service, and the change that subsequent retired people do not <br /> share in retirement pay increases after their effective retirement. This <br /> approval is subject to sign statements by each active and retired Fire <br /> Department member and the two vested Fire Department members, to the ap- <br /> proved bylaw changes. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
