ni V? /1 ij G November 2, 1981 ENERGY SAVERS Mr. Dennis Johnson has submitted his performance and payment bonds and the Letter of Credit can be released. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Letter of Credit for Dennis Johnson, Energy Savers, be released, as the performance bond for Project 8118 has now been filed with the city and is in order. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty MOTION CARRIED MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve Change Order #1 , in the amount of $3,000.00, for Project 8118. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty MOTION CARRIED Change Order #2, in the amount of $600.00, will be f orthtoming. 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 Ordinance Committee - no report 6.2 Planning Commission - no report 6.3 Water Superintendent - no report 6.4 Building Inspector Mr. Crever had previously submitted his monthly report. 6.5 Fire Chief The Fire Department has expressed concern over the lack of membership. They had asked the Council to consider a change in the age requirement and the one mile radius. LaValle stated that he will attend the next Fire Department meeting to discuss these matters. 6.6 Attorney Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. It was suggested that Attorney Johnson submit comments to NSP regarding their proposal for the resolving of the right-of-way problem. The engineer and attorney will compile their past bills on this parti- cular matter. 6.7 Engineer Mr. Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. 6.8 Clerk The city had received a number of letters from residents in Evergreen Hills re- garding American pitbulls owned by Ken Hansen, 13814 Isleton Avenue. Mr. Hansen's animals had attacked a dog owned by Mr. & Mrs. Robert Oswald, ultimately killing the animal. The people from the area were mainly concerned that a small child
