November 2, 1981 <br /> could somehow become involved in a future animal fight if dogs were allowed to run. <br /> Mr. Hansen was present, and stated that he now has them confined and he will not <br /> allow them to run again. There were many residents from Evergreen Hills present, <br /> witiha lenghthy discussion on dog problems in the City of Hugo. The Mayor also <br /> informed the people steps that can be taken to resolve their problems. <br /> Councilman McAllister had drawn up a notice for bids for the sale of city equipment. <br /> There was some discussion for the possibility of including the equipment in an <br /> auction for Washington County equipment. The wing presently located in Traeger's <br /> building should be put on the grader. The lease with Mrs. Traeger expired on <br /> September 30, 1981 . <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, that the city write a letter <br /> to Mrs. Irene Traeger stating that our lease agreement with herhas ex- <br /> pired and will not be renewed. Payment will be made until January 1 , <br /> 1982, and all city equipment will be removed before that time. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The city hold-off on the sale of the equipment. <br /> RICCI REFUND <br /> The city received a letter from Robert Ricci requesting duplicate licenses because <br /> originals were destroyed in the fire. These will be prepared for his opening on <br /> November 3, 1981 . He also requested a refund on his 1982 licenses for the six <br /> month period the 1981 licenses were not used. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City Clerk notify <br /> Mr. Ricci that his request for a refund must be denied due to the fact <br /> that the ordinance specifically requires the application be made within <br /> 30 days after the fire. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllistel Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Mayor be authorized <br /> to sign duplicate licenses for Ricci's Saloon. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Burkard and Mr. Wisner had submitted claims for work done on the watermain break <br /> in excess of the established rate. They are to appear at the Special Meeting of <br /> November 19th to discuss their billing. <br /> ZIMCO WOOD <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, that a letter be sent to Mr. <br /> Zimmerman stating that he is in violation of the Special Use Permit, and <br /> he has 10 days in which to get a new letter of credit or the city will <br /> institute the necessary action for revocation of his Special Use Permit. <br /> The letter of credit to be in force as long as the Special Use Permit <br /> is open. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
