Council expects <br /> more information and supervision coming from the clerk's office. Councilman <br /> Irsfeld felt that a cross reference on applications, variances, pole buildings, etc. , <br /> would be beneficial for Council comparison. Clerk's office will establish such <br /> a cross reference system. <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Vail, to solicit a bid to do the book- <br /> keeping for the City of Hugo. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The responsibilities of the bookkeeper would involve the following: <br /> 1 . Posting on a bi-weekly basis. <br /> 2. Reconciliation with the bank. <br /> 3. Preparing a financial statement for the first meeting of the month. <br /> 4. Supporting data for the auditors. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to set the salary for the City <br /> Clerk/Treasurer at $17,100.00 per year. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld, Vail, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to extend the meeting passed <br /> 11 :00 PM. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Council reviewed the two applications that were received to fill the vacancy on <br /> the Planning Commission. A third applicant was outstanding, and the clerk was in- <br /> structed to contact this person to see if interest still exists. Council then <br /> directed that the applicants be scheduled for interviews on 15 minute intervals <br /> prior to the next council meeting. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, Schletty seconded, to adjourn at 11 :20 PM. <br /> All aye.
