April 5, 1982 32 <br /> 6.5 Clerk <br /> In the future, when preliminary plans for subdivision are submitted, a copy is to <br /> sent to Washington County Planning for their information only, and not for their <br /> review. They are to submit a copy of same to the county surveyor. <br /> The City received a letter of complaint from Ernest Nylen regarding an attack by <br /> a dog owned by Darrell Jacobson. He alleged that there are no warning signs <br /> regarding the animal on the property. Mr. Jacobson is to be notified of the <br /> letter of complaint indicating the allegations made by Mr. Nylen. Mr. Nylen is <br /> be informed that Mr. Jacobson has been notified of the complaint. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to set a public hearing <br /> for May 17, 1982, at 8:00 PM, for the purpose of vacation of the cistern <br /> easement on the Hugo bank property. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> No discussion. <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 Armon Bond - Bond expires 5/7/82. <br /> LaValle stated that he will be contacting the attorney regarding what has transpired <br /> in this matter. Matter to be placed on the agenda for 4/19/82. <br /> 8.2 Equipment Listing for Auction <br /> This matter was proposed to be discussed at the special budget meeting. The county <br /> does not require a listing until shortly before the auction. <br /> 8.3 NSP - Final Cost Estimates and Negotiations <br /> This matter to be placed on the agenda for April 19, 1982. <br /> There was discussion regardings the changes in office policy due to the resignation <br /> of Carol A. Williams a Clerk/Treasurer. The Deputy Clerk, Mary Ann Creager, stated <br /> that she was not interested in the position. The Council requested that she agree <br /> to be appointed Deputy Clerk/Treasurer on a temporary basis, and she agreed. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, that official hours of the <br /> Hugo City Hall be set at 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, <br /> effective April 12, 1982. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City advertise for <br /> temporary office help. Must be able .to type 50 wpm and start immediately. <br /> Letter of application to be submitted to Hugo City Hall by April 14, 1982. <br /> Salary set at $3.50/hour. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
