68 <br /> MINUTES OF THE PROutiwINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> August 2, 1982 <br /> The City-.:Council met with the city's auditors to discuss the submitted report. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister <br /> Schletty arrived at 6:47 PM and Vail at 6:55 PM <br /> It was determined that the City of Hugo should consider an increase in the sewer charge <br /> to its customers for 1983, and a quarterly report listing pledged securities will be <br /> sufficient. <br /> The regular meeting was called to order at 7:26 PM. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> ABSENT: Irsfeld <br /> City Engineer, Kuusisto, was also present. <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of July 19, 1982, <br /> after the following correction has been made: <br /> Page 66 (7.1) - the existing contract is still in force. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPRDVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> NOTION: McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> August 2, 1982, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br /> August 2, 1982, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 rta iialONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Kelly Cadwallader - Discussion on Septic System (Cal-Inland, Inc.) <br /> Mr. Cadwallader stated that the holding tank presently being used, will be used as <br /> the permanent system. They have only pumped twice, and feel the holding tank would <br /> be no problem. Mr. Cadwallader presently has a $10,000 Letter of Credit with the city <br /> and requested a reduction in same. The city has on record a Maintenance Agreement <br /> between Cal- Inland and Olson Pumping for the pumping of the holding tank. The engineer <br /> stated that an area of land should always be reserved in the event they would like <br /> to install an alternate system. Mayor LaValle informed Cadwallader that the city will <br /> be requiriring quarterly reports on pumping of the tank and meter readings. Cadwallader <br /> agreed to provide the city with copies of pumping invoices. Kuusisto stated, that if <br /> the property ever changed hands, the city could call for the installational of a con- <br /> ventional system. <br />
