81 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL September 20, 1982 The meeting was called to order by acting Mayor, Larry Irsfeld, at 7:08 PM. PRESENT: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail Also - Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto ABSENT: LaValle 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the minutes of September 7, 1982, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of the Special Budget Meeting of September 16, 1982, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Schletty made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the General Claims for September 20, 1982, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for September 20, 1982, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau - Request for Funding Tom Oswald, representing the Bureau, was present, and stated that he was making his annual appeal for financial assistance in the amount of $2,500 in 1983. Mr. Oswald was asked if families that are helped are being billed for the service, and he responded that it has been their policy to not bill to try and be fair to all con- cerned. He stated that in some cases, parents are not involved. In the future, they may be looking for some donation, but no guidelines have been established, to date. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to take the request upon advisement. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.2 David Schumann - Petition for Mobile Home Permit MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, McAllister seconded, to place this matter on the agenda for the meeting of October 4, 1982. All aye. Motion Carried.
