Present at the meeting were
EDA members Arcand, Charpentier, and Klein, along with CDD Bear and administrative
intern Denaway. At the meeting the committee shared the potential plans the City is
considering for its CDBG application.
CDD Bear provided the EDA with an update on the City's CDBG grant application.
Based on the City's meeting with Washington County officials it was decided the best
approach would be to submit an application that was comprised of three parts: a housing
portion, an economic development portion, and a park portion. The Board expressed its
desire to see development occur on the site regardless of the outcome of the grant
application.
Miron made motion, Granger seconded for Staff to schedule a meeting with Mike and
Cathy Anderson, and an EDA Sub -Committee consisting of Klein, Granger, and either
Miron or Skarich, depending on availability.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
