Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for December 21, 2015 <br />Page 5 of 10 <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Planner Rachel Juba <br />Rachel Juba was hired as the City's Associate Planner on January 2, 2007 and promoted to <br />Planner in 2010. Over the past nine years, Rachel has worked in the Community Development <br />Department and provides support for the Economic Development Authority and Planning <br />Commission. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for <br />Planner Rachel Juba. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for PW Worker Ryan McCullough <br />Ryan McCullough was hired on January 2, 2007 as the City of Hugo's Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker. Ryan has worked over the past nine years in a wide variety of the duties <br />completed by the Public Works Department including snowplowing, landscape maintenance, <br />sewer work, and water work. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance <br />review for Public Works Maintenance Worker Ryan McCullough. <br />Approve Final Pay Request to Dresel Contracting for CSAH 7/8 Intersection <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc., had submitted the fourth and final pay request for work on the CSAH <br />7/8 intersection improvement project. Staff reviewed the request and found it to be satisfactory <br />for work done. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the final pay request to Dresel <br />Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $15,473.07. <br />Approve Replacement of 2003 Caterpillar Motor Grader <br />Included in the City's Equipment Purchasing Fund is $225,000 for the purchase of a new motor <br />grader to replace the existing 2003 Caterpillar 140H motor grader. Staff requested purchasing a <br />replacement through the Cooperative Purchasing Venture in order to receive the best price. Staff <br />had negotiated a purchase price and trade-in value for the 2003 CAT with Zeigler CAT. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the purchase of a 2016 Caterpillar 140H motor grader <br />from Ziegler CAT at the balance price of $202,900 plus tax. <br />Approve Replacement of 2005 Caterpillar Tractor Backhoe <br />Included in the City's Equipment Purchasing Fund is $120,000 for the purchase of a new 2016 <br />Caterpillar 430F2IT backhoe loader. Staff requested purchasing a replacement through the <br />Cooperative Purchasing Venture in order to receive the best price. Staff had negotiated a <br />purchase price and trade-in value for the 2005 CAT with Zeigler CAT. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved the purchase of a 2016 Caterpillar 430F21T backhoe loader from Ziegler CAT <br />at the balance price of $96,880 plus tax. <br />Approve Sale of 2005 Ford F550 Dump Truck <br />At its February 2, 2015 meeting, Council approved the purchase of a 2015 Ford F550 dump truck <br />for the Public Works Department to replace the 2005 F550. They also authorized staff to <br />advertise for the sale of the 2005 F550 through a sealed bid process. Adoption of the Consent <br />
