Kidz In <br />Biz Fest <br />-zoia- <br />Sponsored by the <br />Hugo Business <br />Association and <br />Hugo's Economic <br />Development <br />Authority. Kidz `n <br />Biz brings together <br />businesses and <br />residents of Hugo <br />for a few hours of <br />games, entertain- <br />ment and fun. <br />Kidz `n Biz Fest <br />Saturday, April 20 <br />Oneka Elementary <br />11:OOam — 2:OOpm <br />EcovlovKi c, T�)eveLopvmv�,t Extra <br />Children's Hospital Clinic and HealthPartners Clinic Locate in Hugo <br />Children's Hospital Clinic and HealthPartners Clinic will be filling the open tenant <br />spaces in the new 12,381 square foot medical office building located directly east of <br />Blue Heron Grill. The new medical office building is currently under construction and is <br />anticipated to be completed this summer. A grand opening is planned for May 15th. <br />Xcel Energy Adds 3rd Phase to Training Center <br />At its November 19, 2012 meeting City Council approved a site plan for phase three of <br />the Xcel Energy Training Center. The third phase consists of a 5,000 square foot ware- <br />house addition. The Xcel Energy building will be approximately 40,000 square feet with <br />the addition of phase three. <br />Christ Lutheran to Build Church in Hugo <br />The City recently received a site plan application from Christ Lutheran Church to build a <br />new church on the vacant lot north of the Healtheast building off of Everton <br />Avenue. The project proposes a 13,350 square foot building with worship and class- <br />room space. The church hopes to start construction this spring. <br />Sa fete Tips Frovi/t Your Fire CKL' e f <br />As the snow melts please remember burning <br />permits are required for any fire larger than <br />3'x3', including recreational fires. Spring- <br />time always brings dry conditions and <br />potential "Burning Bans" you can keep <br />informed by visiting the City website or <br />MN Dept. Natural Resources website. Burn <br />Permits are available on the City website <br />and should be submitted to City Hall. <br />Please remember to change your smoke <br />The Fire Department is seeking ap- <br />plicants for Firefighter/EMT. We <br />have scheduled a physical agility <br />test for April 6th. If you are <br />interested please submit an ay Iica <br />tion to City Hall by April 5th <br />4:30pm. Applications for <br />employment are available at City <br />Hall or on the City website. <br />and/or carbon monoxide detector batteries <br />every time you change your clocks. Keep <br />in mind these devices do not last forever, <br />most have a 10 year service life. Please <br />take a moment to check the manufacture <br />date on yours and replace them if they have <br />surpassed their lifespan. As always, create <br />a fire escape plan (if you do not have one) <br />and practice the plan. <br />Yellow Ribbon Network <br />Hamburger Night April 24 <br />A number of Hugo Firefighters and their <br />families have volunteered to sponsor the <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Hamburger Night <br />at the Hugo American Legion on <br />Wednesday, April 24`h from 5-8pm.
