A Wore{ Frow, T>u.bLb c, Workzs <br />Hydrant Flushing <br />Begins April 8 <br />The Public Works Department will be <br />flushing hydrants starting Monday, April 8. <br />It should take about two weeks to complete <br />all hydrants. Flushing purges rust and <br />stagnant water from the distribution system <br />and identifies hydrants in need of mainte- <br />nance. It is inevitable that some residents <br />will receive rust colored water that could <br />Recycle Stain laundry. During this time, please <br />check that water coming into the house is <br />clear and let i <br />the water tap run if necessary. <br />Street Sweeping <br />Begins April 1 <br />The Public Works Department will be <br />sweeping all paved streets starting <br />Monday, April 1.
