Beaver Ponds — All the equipment for Beaver Ponds Park has arrived and the picnic table and <br />benches have been assembled. If the weather is good on Saturday, the concrete pads will be poured <br />and the benches, table and spring toy will be installed. <br />Seeding has been completed. However a large rainstorm occurred and it appears that a lot of the seed <br />washed away. The park may need to be reseeded <br />Other questions and issues that need to be resolved are: <br />1. Has the paper work been completed for the grant Hugo received from White Bear Lake <br />Recreation for irrigation of the soccer field? Laurie will follow up with John Rask. <br />2. Snow fence needs to be purchased and installed around the soccer field before winter. Chris <br />Petree will be contacted. <br />3. The irrigation system for the soccer field needs to be inspected. Tom Weidt said that it does not <br />appear to be working correctly. Chris Petree will be contacted. <br />4. When will the bituminous trail in the park be installed? <br />5. A 10' bituminous trail on the west side of Flay Avenue, starting at 130th Street, has not been <br />installed. This segment of trail needs to be installed along with the rest of the trail system in <br />Beaver Ponds. This needs to be coordinated with John Rask and the developer. <br />II. Victor Gardens — The preliminary plat for the first phase of Victor Gardens was reviewed. <br />Parkland dedication was reviewed. After a lengthy discussion, the Park Commission makes the <br />following recommendation. <br />1. Accept land dedication in the first phase.
