Hugo, Minnesota Parks and Recreation Open Space Commission Minutes <br />May 12, 2004 <br />Page 3 <br />June meeting; 2) The Park Commission would begin meeting regularly in the Council <br />Chambers; 3) Kitty asked Park Commission members to drive Geneva Av. going south from <br />Oneka Lake Blvd. to 147t" St. N. to evaluate pedestrian traffic and consider the need for a <br />trail. (contacted by one Hugo resident requesting review of pedestrian safety near this <br />intersection); 4) Distributed notes about parks and service needs identified in a meeting <br />between members of the WBL Area Schools Community Services Department and the Hugo <br />Park Commission. <br />D. Chris Petree: Updated Park Commission members on the status of the Rice property. Chris <br />asked members what they would like to see happen with the Rice property. The Park <br />Commission members concurred that the City should offer the property to the adjacent property <br />owners. Chris asked Park Commission members if they would like staff to put together a cost <br />estimate for re -seeding and irrigating Tower #2 Park. Park Commission members requested <br />that Chris bring back a cost estimate at their next meeting. <br />IX. Other <br />LOCATION — CITY HALL <br />
