Discuss Outlot A-Creekview Preserve Development <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree provided a presentation explaining the 17 acre Outlot A, 2nd <br />Addition that the City now owns. Public Works Director Petree also provided an update on the re - <br />delineation of the site and identified the usable upland area adjacent to 159"' St. N. and the trail. <br />Park Commission members identified this park as a very high priority for the City and would like to <br />hold a neighborhood meeting at the next Park Commission meeting in October. <br />Lacher made a motion, Keithahn seconded, to strongly recommend that the City Council authorizes <br />the construction and funding of this park within the next year. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />V. Update on Oneka Lake Park <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree provided an update on the improvements at the Oneka Lake <br />Park. All of the improvements to the site should be completed by October 2004. <br />VI. Updates <br />A. Planning Commission -Kelly Bailly acknowledged that the Planning Commission received the <br />resident's letter regarding Rice Lake Park. <br />B. City Council -Public Works Director Chris Petree will place the Rice Lake Park Feasibility Study, <br />5 year park C.I.P. and the Creekview Preserve Park on the next City Council agenda. <br />C. Pete Pedersen -Provided a status update on the Oakshore Park -Park negotiations. Pete <br />recently attended a Board meeting for Oakshore Park where the Park was discussed. Board <br />members stated that they would be setting up a meeting with City Administrator Mike Ericson <br />and other City staff to continue discussions on selling this property to the City of Hugo for a <br />park. <br />D. Chris Petree-None. <br />VI. Other <br />Park Commissioner Tom Weidt asked for $200 from the Park Commission to replace <br />damaged/worn boards for the hockey rink at Hugo Elementary. <br />Pedersen made a motion, Clarke seconded, recommending the City contribute up to $200 to replace <br />worn/damaged boards at the hockey rink. <br />All Aye.
