Minutes <br />City of Hugo <br />Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting <br />December 14, 2005 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Council Chambers — City Hall <br />Meeting Chair: Kitty Cheesebrow <br />Minutes By: Chris Petree <br />Present: Parks Commission: Kitty Cheesebrow, Pete Pedersen, Charles Kirk and Dan Gabrielli. <br />Planning Commission: Kelly Bailly. <br />Staff Chris Petree, Public Works Director. <br />Absent: Jennifer May and Roger Clarke <br />Approve Minutes From November 9, 2005 Meeting <br />Cheesebrow made a motion, Pedersen seconded, to approve the minutes from the November 9, <br />2005 Parks Commission meeting. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />Update on Frog Hollow Park Fence <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree informed the Parks Commission on the action taken by <br />Council regarding the Frog Hollow Park fence. Council directed staff to install a temporary fence <br />now and a permanent fence in the spring. The temporary fence has been installed and staff will <br />be bringing back fencing options to the Parks Commission in the near future. <br />III. Review Sketch Plan for Enchanted Waters Addition <br />Brent Thompson was present, representing Stoney River Development and the Enchanted <br />Waters development. The Parks Commission reviewed the staff report and decided to take Park <br />Dedication fees in lieu of land. The developer also asked if the City would be willing to except a <br />donation of land, Outlot A on the north side of 132nd St. N. <br />Cheesebrow made a motion, Pedersen seconded, to accept fees in lieu of land for the <br />Enchanted Waters development and to accept the donation of Outlot A. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />IV. Review Plat for Wilderness View 2nd Addition <br />Sam Ashkar was present, representing TJ Land Trust and Wilderness View 2nd Addition. The <br />Parks Commission reviewed the staff report and decided to take Park Dedication fees in lieu of <br />land. Mr. Ashkar also informed the Parks Commission that a bituminous trail would also be <br />constructed as part of this project that would link Wilderness View 2nd with Wilderness View 1 st <br />and the proposed Wilderness View 3rd <br />Pedersen made a motion, Kirk seconded, to accept fees in lieu of land for Wilderness View 2nd <br />Page 1 <br />
