Minutes <br />City of Hugo <br />Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting <br />April 12, 2006 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Council Chambers — City Hall <br />Meeting Chair: Kitty Cheesebrow <br />Minutes By: Chris Petree <br />Present: Parks Commission: Kitty Cheesebrow, Charles Kirk, Roger Clarke, Dan Gabrielli and <br />Jennifer May. <br />Planning Commission: Kelly Bailly. <br />Staff Chris Petree, Public Works Director. <br />Consultant: Laurie McRostie, Landscape Architect <br />Absent: Rachel Berger and Pete Pedersen <br />Approve Minutes From March 8, 2006 Meeting <br />May made a motion, Clarke seconded, to approve the minutes from the March 8, 2006 Parks <br />Commission meeting. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />II. Review Enchanted Waters Preliminary Plat <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree provided an overview of the preliminary plat for Enchanted <br />Waters. The Parks Commission reviewed the plat that consists of 12 lots on 40 acres and <br />conforms to the new rural and open space ordinance. <br />Clarke made a motion, Gabrielli seconded, to accept park dedication fees in lieu of land and to <br />request that the developer construct a loop trail through Outlot C. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />III. Review Wilderness View 3 r Addition Preliminary Plat <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree provided an overview of the preliminary plat for Wilderness <br />View 3rd Addition. The Parks Commission reviewed the plat that consists 61 lots on 27 acres. <br />Based on the master park plan, the park that will serve this development is Beaver Ponds Park <br />and this development includes a trail connection to Beaver Ponds South that connects to the <br />park. <br />May made a motion, Cheesebrow seconded, to accept park dedication fees in lieu of land and <br />that the revised trail on Fondant Av. N. is acceptable. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />IV. Review Diamond Point Park Plan (Laurie McRostie) <br />Landscape Architect Laurie McRostie presented a revised plan for Diamond Point Park.
