Hugo, Minnesota Parks and Recreation Open Space Commission Minutes <br />August 9, 2006 <br />Page 2 <br />and to conduct a community survey on Parks & Recreation within the City of Hugo. These items <br />were placed on the City Council agenda on Monday, August 7, 2006. On Monday night, the City <br />Council directed staff to develop an RFP and receive proposals for the update of the Parks <br />Master Plan and community survey. <br />V. 2006 Parks Project Update <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree provided an update of the following park projects. <br />• Diamond Point Park: The 2-12 yr. old play structure and swings are installed, shelter & teen <br />play area scheduled to be completed the week of August 28th, the basketball court and trails <br />are scheduled to be completed by the end of August and the baseball/softball field should be <br />completed by mid-September. Turf establishment and landscaping to be completed by <br />October 31 st <br />• Beaver Ponds Park: The picnic shelter is scheduled to be installed the week of August 28th. All <br />restoration and landscaping will be completed following the installation of the shelter. <br />Adjournment: Pedersen made a motion to adjourn at 8:40 p.m., Clarke seconded. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />
