Motion Carried.
II. Skate Park Discussion
Brady Peterson and Eric Romey addressed the commission on the need for a skate park
in Hugo. With working parents and no transportation, this age group is in need of
something to do or a place to go. They provided a petition with signatures and
conducted surveys with other youths in the community and felt a consistent amount of
support for a skate park.
The Commission thanked them for bringing the issue to their attention and all agreed
that more activities are necessary. Further discussions on a skate park will be had with
the discussion on Lions Park.
