Minutes <br />City of Hugo <br />Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting <br />November 12th, 2008 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Call to Order <br />Roger Clarke Called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Roger Clarke, Rachel Berger, Noel Schmidt, Russell Schmidt, Jim Taylor, <br />Melissa Parker <br />Absent: Pete Pedersen, Dan Gabrielli, Dave Strub <br />Staff Present: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br />Debi Close, Parks Secretary <br />I. Approval of Minutes of October 8, 2008 <br />Russell Schmidt made a motion, Noel Schmidt seconded to approve the minutes of <br />the October 8, 2008 Parks Commission meeting. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />II. Budget Discussion <br />Ron Otkin the Finance Manager for Hugo City Hall explained the special parks fund <br />budget worksheet by going over in detail the revenue and expenditures items that <br />were listed. <br />III. Presentation by Skyhawks <br />Sean Elder, Area Manager, of Skyhawks introduced himself and the company her <br />represents. Skyhawks is a youth sports programming company that specializes in <br />teaching life skills through athletics. Mr. Elder explained the different sports that his <br />company offers and how the program is managed from top to bottom. <br />
