Minutes <br />Parks Commission, City of Hugo <br />November 13, 2013 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, City Hall <br />Call to Order <br />Present: Rachel Berger, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Jim Taylor, Tom <br />Windisch <br />Absent: Joan Benner <br />Staff Present: Bryan Bear, City Administrator <br />Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner <br />Eric Maass, Community Development Intern <br />Jim Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. <br />I. Approval of Minutes from October Meeting <br />Berger made a motion, Strub seconded to approve the minutes of the October 10, 2013 Parks <br />Commission meeting, with a change. <br />All Ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br />II. Recognition of Hugo Hockey Rink Volunteers <br />Scott Anderson, Public Works Director introduced Steve Unzen and Doug Vail to the Parks <br />Commission and updated them on all the work completed by volunteers at the Hugo Elementary <br />Hockey Rink. Volunteers included Dave Crever, Norm Everson, Jim Kloos, Cliff Lutz, Dan <br />Tracy, Dan Vail, and Mike Wallace. Additional help was provided by Jon Anderson of White <br />Bear Lake Area Schools. Through the generous donations of local establishments, the <br />volunteers constructed an addition to the current warming house for the storage of a tractor that <br />would be used for maintaining the ice. Partners in the project included Home Depot, Hugo <br />American Legion, Local Union Council #82, Centennial Hockey, White Bear Hockey Club, Hugo <br />Business Association, Hugo Lions Club, Hugo Parks Commission, Hugo Rental, Hugo <br />
