Strub made a motion, Berger seconded to approve the Lions Park Preliminary plan as drafted <br />with summary details. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />IV. Other <br />Nick (resident) addressed the Parks Commission regarding fishing, stormwater ponds, and <br />trails. He shared ideas for keeping the areas clean and safe for the community. <br />The Parks Commission thanked Nick for bringing his concerns their attention. Park <br />Commission members agreed to look into trash cans and signage near the trail on Oneka <br />Parkway. <br />V. Park Dedication Policy Review <br />The City Council made revisions to the Park Dedication Policy at their meeting of November 15, <br />2010 and made a request that the policy be reviewed again in four years. Shayla Syverson, <br />Parks Planner presented the Park Dedication Policy and an update on recent dedications for <br />discussion. <br />Strub made a motion to accept the Park Dedication Policy with no changes. <br />Rauschendorfer made a motion to accept the Park Dedication Policy with no changes and <br />requested it be reviewed again in two years. <br />Schmid seconded. <br />All Aye. Motion carried. <br />VI. Summer Program Plan <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner reviewed current and upcoming recreation programs. <br />Park Commission members expressed a concern over the acoustics of the Hanifl Gathering <br />Room sharing that in their experience, the room has been very loud when being used by a <br />group. Staff was asked to look at sound buffering. <br />VII. Update on Rice Lake Meadows Street Reconstruction <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner informed of the public hearing that was held March 2, 2015 <br />regarding Rice Lake Meadows street reconstruction project. The City Council approved the <br />project and it will be moving forward. <br />
