MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2010 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan <br />Bear, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney Dave Snyder, Public Works Director Scott <br />Anderson, Water Resource Engineer Pete Willenbring, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Approval of Minutes for City Council Meeting on April 5, 2010 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 5, 2010 City Council <br />meeting as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Minutes for BR&E Commencement Meeting on April 7, 2010 <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 7, 2010 BR&E <br />Commencement meeting held at the Hugo American Legion as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Minutes for Meeting with Local Business on TH61/130th St. Intersection <br />Improvements on April 13, 2010 at Wilson Tool International <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 13, 2010 meeting with <br />local businesses regarding the intersection improvements at TH61 and 130th Street held at <br />Wilson Tool International as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the Agenda as amended. <br />Add L.1 Citizen Awards <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approve Special Event Permit for 1" Annual Sarah's Daisy Dash 5K Fun Run on June 5, 2010 <br />Recently, City staff was contacted by representative from Tri Fitness and friends of Sarah <br />Condon Mitzuk who passed away in January. Two friends, Jill Rosenthal and Elena Reicher, <br />inquired as to what it would take to conduct a fun -run in the City of Hugo to commemorate the <br />life and spirit of Sarah Condon Mitzuk. City staff spent time with the two friends and Tri Fitness <br />who was contacted to be the race organizer. After discussion, friends agreed to hold the event at <br />Lions Park and use the same route the City used in the 2006 Centennial 5K Run. Staff has <br />
