MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 15, 2007 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Petryk, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson, CD Director Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, Fire Chief Jim Compton, City Planner Kendra Lindahl, and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Chuck Haas and Frank Puleo <br />APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 25, 2007 (HUGO <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING) <br />Petryk made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the minutes for the September 25, 2007 meeting at <br />which the Hugo Elementary School neighborhood gathered to discuss a street reconstruction project as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 1. 2007 <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the October 1, 2007 meeting as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add MA — Invitation from State Representative Bob Dettmer to Town Hall Meeting at Hugo City Hall <br />on October 23, 2007 <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the agenda for October 15, 2007 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF THE STILLWATER SCHOOL LEVY VOTE "YES" CAMPAIGN <br />(BARBARA PROULX) <br />Mayor Fran Miron was contacted by Barbara Proulx from the Stillwater School Levy "Vote Yes" <br />Campaign and wanted a few minutes to address the Council and public about operating referendum vote <br />on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Because Ms. Proulx was not present at this time: <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this matter until later in the meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF MINNESOTA TOASTMASTERS PROCLAMATION <br />City staff was contacted by the Minnesota Toastmasters and their request for support of a proclamation <br />naming October as Toastmasters Month in the State of Minnesota.
