MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 18, 2005 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson; CD Director Bryan Bear; City Attorney Dave Snyder; City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy; PW Director Chris Petree; Finance Director Ron Otkin; Fire Chief Jim Compton; and <br />City Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />JOINT COUNCHJHISTORICAL COMMISSION MEETING OF MARCH 28.2005 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the joint Council/Historical <br />Commission meeting held on Monday, March 28, 2005 as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 4, 2005 <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the minutes for the Council meeting of April 4, 2005 <br />as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Move J.3 to F.3 (Lions/HBA Volunteer Work on City Garage) <br />Add J.5 (Adopt Resolution Approving the Terms of Interfund Loan for TIF) <br />Add K.1 (Drainage Issue on LaValle Property) <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the agenda for April 18, 2005 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FAREWELL RECOGNITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN TOM DENAWAY <br />Tom Denaway began his employment with the City as the new administrative intern on January 5, <br />2004. For more than a year, Tom has worked on a variety of projects and issues, involving himself in <br />both the administrative and planning department areas. Tom has proven to be a valuable member of the <br />City Hall team, coordinating the replacement of the community development director and the hiring of <br />Bryan Bear, replacement of the building department receptionist and hiring of Eileen Ottney, and <br />reorganization of the City's EDA. Tom has accepted an employment opportunity with the City of <br />Wyoming as the city's new management analyst. Mayor Fran Miron publicly thanked Tom for all of <br />his work and presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation acknowledging his dedication and public <br />service to the City of Hugo. <br />AWARD OF $7,920,000 BOND SALE AND JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT (PAUL <br />STEINMAN, SPRINGSTED) <br />At its April 4, 2005 meeting, Council scheduled a public sale for April 18, 2005 for the $7,920,000 in <br />
