MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 5.2000 <br />Mayor Walter Stoltzman called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Mike Ericson <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the executive session of May 3, <br />2000, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of <br />May 15, 2000, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the minutes for the continued meeting of <br />May 15, 2000 to May 16, 2000, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Off -sale Liquor License (Rick's Liquor) <br />Approval of Hiring of Summer Engineering Intern <br />Approve Hiring of Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />Parks Commission (Recommendation to Research Deed for Sunset Lake Park) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />OFF -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE (RICK'S LIOUOR) <br />Rick and Kelly Lindstrom made application to the City of Hugo for an off -sale intoxicating liquor <br />license. Washington County Sheriffs Department has concluded its liquor license background <br />investigation, and recommends that the two applicants be eligible for the issuance of a liquor <br />license by the City of Hugo. City staff has received the investigation and supporting insurance <br />documents, and recommended approval of the off -sale liquor license by the City Council. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the liquor license as requested. <br />
