MWUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 2.1998 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Moon at 7:10 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Moon <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Road Easement (Martha Peltier) <br />Live Entertainment (The End Zone) <br />Site Plan Approval (St. John's Church) <br />Tom Jackson (Tschida Property) <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Moon made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />City Council minutes for October 19, 1998 <br />General Claims for November 2, 1998 <br />Special Use Permit (McKellepp) <br />Site Plan Approval (Industrial Painting) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT (MCKELLEPP) <br />Richard and Rhonda McKellepp, 16177 Harrow Avenue, requested a SUP to construct a 70' x 150' <br />indoor riding arena on their property at the above address. The accessory building will consist of <br />10,500 sq ft, where 3,600 sq ft is allowed by ordinance. The site consists of 10 acres, and is zoned <br />for agricultural use. The proposed indoor arena will be attached to an existing 36' x 56' barn on the <br />site. The PC considered this request at their meeting of October 28, 1998, and recommended <br />approval of the SUP in conformance with the site plan provided by the applicants. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the SUP to construct up to a 70' x 150' indoor riding arena on the <br />subject property. <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL (INDUSTRIAL PAINTING) <br />Richard Maciej, 14812 309th Avenue, Princeton, MN., requested site plan approval to construct an <br />approximate 40,000 sq ft office and manufacturing building in the Peloquin Industrial Park, on the <br />north site of 152nd Street. It is described as Parcel C in the recent Fegowi Rental subdivision. The <br />project includes a 3,690 sq ft office and 35,000 sq ft of open manufacturing space. The building will <br />be used for the sandblasting of fabricated metal parts, and application of various wetcoating paint <br />systems. The PC considered the proposed site plan at their meeting of October 28, 1998, and <br />recommended approval of the site plan subject to the following conditions: <br />
