MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 4.1997 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:25PM. <br />PRESENT: Goiffon, Johnson, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager , <br />City Finance Director, Ron Otkin (present for assessment hearing) <br />ABSENT: Debra Barnes <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />City Council minutes for the meeting of July 21, 1997 <br />General Claims for August 4,1997 <br />1997 Curbside Recycling Grant <br />Findings of Fact (Bobber's Boats and Bait) <br />City Clerk (Full-time Start Date) <br />Culvert and 16797 Elmcrest Avenue <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />1997 CURBSIDE RECYCLING GRANT <br />The Council considered for app: oval an Agreement between the City of Hugo and <br />Washington County for the distribution of curbside recycling grant funds in 1997. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Agreement, which will provide the City of <br />Hugo $4,462 for recycling activities. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT (BOBBER'S BOA'T'S AND RAID <br />The Council considered Findings of Fact for Bobber's Boats and Bait, 4444 129th Street, <br />as prepared by the City Attorney, based on the hearing conducted on July 21, 1997. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Findings of tact. <br />CITY CLERK (FULL-TIME START DATE) <br />At the Council meeting of July 21, 1997, the City Administrator recommended hiring <br />Mary Ann Creager as full-time City Clerk, at an annual salary of $38,000. Ms. Creager <br />will receive dental benefits, personal leave, and other benefits of full-time employment, <br />except health care coverage. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Ms. Creager as a <br />full-time City Clerk as of September 1, 1997 under the conditions stated. <br />
