MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 20. 1996 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes. Goiffon, LaValle. Motion Carried. <br />meeting of May 6, 1996 <br />(BSA) <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT (RICE LAKE MEADOWS #4) <br />On May 6, 1996, the City Council authorized City staff to negotiate with <br />the developer of RLM4 to obtain an easement for a bike path across Lot 5 <br />of the subdivision, as well as construction of a sidewalk along Geneva <br />Avenue through the development. The developer agreed with the City's <br />request in writing. The City Engineer reviewed the revised plat for <br />conformance to the recommended changes he requested in his letter of May <br />6, 1996, and found that the plat has been amended to conform with his <br />recommendations. Staff recommended approval of the preliminary plat. Mr. <br />Jim Merila was present to describe the easement placement on the proposed <br />plat. The easement must be usable for its intended purpose as a bike <br />path, and be approved by the City Engineer. <br />LaValle made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the preliminary plat for <br />Rice Lake Meadows #4, and standards for the required bike path easement <br />will be contained in the Development Agreement before final plat approval. <br />All aye.
