MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF 12/16 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:15PM. <br />PRESENT: Agness, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />City Attorney, Greg Caller <br />City Engineer, Tarr Angus <br />City Planner, Ed Elliott <br />City Cleric, Mary Ann Creager <br />Miran made motion, Goiffon seconded) to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />City Council minutes for December 2, 1996 <br />City Council minutes for December 3, 1996 <br />General Claims for December 16, 1996 <br />Findings of Fad (Waller Rezoning) <br />Development Agreement Ami (Rice Lake Meadows #4) <br />Mechanical Permit Fees <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LETTER OF CREDIT REDUCTION (ONEKA ESTA <br />Mr. Rick Lewandowski, developer of the Ones Lakes subdivision, requested reduction of <br />the letter of credit securing the public work performed as part of the project. His request <br />was reviewed by the City Engineer, who recommended reducing the letter of credit <br />requirements to $7,750. Council menber-elect, Debi Johnson, questioned planting of trees <br />on property, and the efficiency of the swale located can of Fenway Avenue. Mr. <br />Lewandowski was present and stated that homeowners were given a credit to plant their <br />own trees, and swales were installed according to the final plat. <br />Mu -on made motion, Barnes seconded, to table this matter until staff confirms status of the <br />tree and drainage issues. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LETTER TO MNDOT (TRAFFIC PLAN) <br />The Council reviewed a copy of the executive summary of MnDOT's Metro <br />Transportation Plan as well as a proposed letter providing comments on the Plan. <br />Bares made motion, Agness seconded, to approve the letter to MnDOT, as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
