MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 19, 1995 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:10 PM. <br />PRESENT: Goiffon, LaValle, LerOUX, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk;, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: 'Debra Barnes <br />The following items were added to the agenda: Resolution for Home <br />Agreement with Washington County HRA and contract with Dean Wallick; for <br />Fire Department training. <br />Item 4 of the regular agenda (Resolution Authorizing Refunding Bond for <br />1988 Series A Improvement Bonds) was removed from the agenda. <br />Leroux: made motion, Miron seconded, to adopt the following consent agenda: <br />Minutes for City Council meeting of June 5, 1995 <br />Minutes for City Council meeting of June 6, 1995 <br />Minutes for City Council meeting of June 12", 1995 <br />Claims for June 19, 1995 in the amount of $44,669.52 <br />On -Sale Liquor License (Onek:.a Fridge Golf Course) <br />The foregoing consent agenda was adopted unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF 1994 FINANCIAL. STATEMENTS AND AUDIT REPOF.T <br />Mr. Jim Fayette, of BoyUm and Barenscheer Associates, was present to <br />review the results of their audit of the City's 1994 financial statements. <br />Leroux made motion, LaValle seconded, to accept the audit report from <br />Boyum and Barenscheer for the year 1994. <br />All ave. Motion Carried. <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF STORMWATER UTILITY FUND AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS <br />City staff recommend that the Council establish a Stormwater Utility Fund <br />for the community, and transfer $100,000 from the City's Sanitary Sewer <br />Fund to the Stormwater Utility Fund in order to initially pay for the <br />purchase of the Svoboda Property, which would be managed as part of the <br />City's stormwater system. Depending upon negotiations with the Post <br />Office, the City could refund the cost of the purchase of this property to <br />the sanitary sewer fund at a later date. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, that the City of Hugo establish a <br />Stormwater Utility Fund, and transfer $100,000 from the City's Sanitary <br />Sewer Fund to the Stormwater Utility Fund. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
