MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />NOVEMBER 18, 2004 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairman Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Bailly, Hoffbeck, Kleissler, Malaski, McRoberts, Schumann <br />ABSENT: Rosenquist <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director (CDD) <br />Kendra Lindahl, Planner <br />Michele Lindau, Community Development Assistant <br />Minutes of October 28, 2004 <br />Malaski made motion, Kleissler seconded, to approve the minutes of October 28, 2004 as <br />submitted. <br />Ayes: Hoffbeck, Kleissler, Malaski, Schumann <br />Abstain: Bailly, McRoberts <br />Motion carried. <br />Generation Acres Preliminary Plat <br />A public hearing was scheduled to consider the plat of Generation Land, LLC 1902 5th Avenue <br />South, Anoka, for a preliminary plat, site plan and variance approval for "Generation Acres" <br />consisting of 42 townhome units for property located north of Oneka Lake Boulevard, south of <br />150th Street and east of Geneva Avenue North <br />The Planner explained that the applicant had requested that the item be tabled in order to provide <br />the applicant with more time to address outstanding issues. <br />The Planning Commission had previously reviewed similar plats for this piece of property. In <br />2003, the applicant had submitted a plat that was denied by the City Council. In 2004, the <br />Council had approved a revised preliminary plat; however, approval of the plat expired within 120 <br />days because a final plat application was never submitted. Since then, the applicant had modified <br />the plat in response to concerns of the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />Chair Schumann opened the public hearing. <br />
