MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 14, 1982 <br />The public hearing to consider the request of James Husnik to divide 3.36 acres <br />into 5 parcels, which will be known as the Husnik Industrial Park, was called <br />to order at 7:32 PM. <br />PRESENT: Lorch, Jacobson, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Hanson, Greger, Fashingbauer, Knuteson <br />HUSNIK INDUSTRIAL PARK <br />The notice was read as published in the Forest Lake Times. Mrs. Peltier opened <br />to hearing to questions from the public. Vern Peloquin, 15226 Forest Blvd., was <br />present and asked who was actually owner of the pond that Rice Creek Watershed <br />is requiring Mr. Husnik to install. He also questioned who the easement will be <br />granted to, and who would be responsible if someone should happen to drown. <br />(KNUTESON ARRIVED AT 7:45 PM). <br />The pond to be installed will be 7' deep and hold approximately 3' of water, as <br />determined by Rice Creek's engineers. John Peloquin, Mrs. Dave Schwartz, and Joe <br />Oman were present, and also stated their concerns over the potentially dangerous <br />situation. They felt that because of the close proximity of residential homes <br />and the trailer court, an unnatural hazard would be created. Husnik has received <br />administrative approval, but will not received a permit from Rice Creek until the <br />permit fee of $85.00 is paid. ( FASHINGBAUER ARRIVED AT 8:02 AND GREGER AT 8:04 PM). <br />It was Jacobson's feeling that a letter to Rice Creek be sent before any action <br />is taken. <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:07 PM. <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 8:09 PM. <br />PRESENT: Greger, Lorch, Fashingbauer, Knuteson, Jacobson, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Hanson <br />Motion made by Lorch, Greger seconded, to approve the minutes of March 24, 1982, <br />as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HUSNIK INDUSTRIAL PARK - SUBDIVISION <br />Discussion continued regarding Rice Creed's requirement for the holding pond. The <br />Planning Commission felt that they would�eo have a representative from the Board <br />present at their meeting to discuss the matter and answer some questions. <br />
